What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the Cannabis sativa plant. Today the therapeutic properties of CBD are being tested and confirmed by scientists and doctors around the world.
Is CBD the same as marijuana?
No. Marijuana is different from CBD. CBD is a single compound in the cannabis plant, and marijuana is a type of cannabis plant or plant material that contains many naturally occurring compounds, including CBD and THC.
Will CBD get me high?
No. Cannabidiol (CBD) does not cause a high. CBD and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) are two of the most well-known compounds isolated from the Cannabis sativa plant. It is THC, not CBD, that creates the ‘high-feeling’ people associate with cannabis use.
Is CBD Legal?
Hemp-derived CBD products with less than 0.3% THC are legal federally but still illegal under some state laws. Customers are responsible for checking local legislation, especially when traveling, before purchasing Toskaia products. Also, keep in mind that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved nonprescription CBD products, which may be inaccurately labeled. Bottom line, be mindful and be careful.
Are Toskaia products shipped worldwide?
No. At this time, Toskaia products are only being shipped throughout the United States. If your shipping address is outside of the USA, your order will be declined.
Will Toskaia skincare products get me high?
No. Toskaia products are for topical use only and are below the legal limit of 0.3% THC. Trace amounts of THC in a topical product will not produce psychoactive effects.
Are Toskaia skincare products safe for sensitive skin?
All skin is different, and although we use the highest quality ingredients and keep our ingredient lists as short (and readable!) as we can, we request all users to do a patch test on a clean, dry patch of skin and wait at least 24-48 hours to spot any possible adverse effects to skin that could occur.
Will Toskaia skincare products interfere with my medication?
If you are currently taking prescription medications, or think you could be pregnant, please consult with your physician before using Toskaia products.
